This works on all hair colors. If you are new to powder dry shampoo, we recommend practicing by applying the dry shampoo away from your natural part. This way, if you do happen to use a bit too much initially, it can easily be covered over by hair. Excess dry shampoo can also be removed simply by wetting the fingertips and running them through the area until desired results are achieved.

The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because it's a bit pricey. The powder seems quite concentrated though, and a small amount goes a long way. Love what it does for my hair, plus the peace of mind knowing ingredients are safe. Scent is subtle but pleasing to the senses. Thank you for a great product skinnyskinny!

An old roommate introduced me to this product, and it's one of my favorite beauty secrets---the scent is wonderful and addicting.

I have been using this for a few weeks. My hair looks and feels healthier than I've seen it in years. Plus, I can do a blow-out and it will last and last with this stuff.

This is such a great product. I've been using it for maybe 3-4 months and my hair has never looked healthier.

I am a hairstylist and consider myself rather adept at the art of applying messy hair products. However, the mess it creates and the amount you waste in applying Makes it A big disappointment. I would have expected more from a product. It absorbs oil fairly well and I love that it's not toxic.

I have tried at least a dozen dry shampoos. I was using a cheap drugstore aerosol most recently because that application method is just so much more convenient. It wasn't doing the job, though. I received a sample of this dray shampoo in the Lavender scent in my september goodebox. I tried it right away and really liked it! The smell is very subtle - one it's on your head, you can't smell it. It seems to soak of oil reasonably well. It is not visible in my hair, which is very dark brown. This might be due to my application method. Section hair, sprinkle along roots, rub in, repeat. I am talking like a quick rub with three fingers. The product disappears and makes contact with more hair/scalp and is better able to do its job.
I don't like the package. I appreciate that it's recycleable, but the sprinkle on method just doesn't work well. After a few shakes the holes get clogged and you have to tap the bottom of the container on the counter. Also, it's very difficult to control the flow. I would prefer a squeeze bottom with a small nozzle such as what is found on other brands of non-aerosol dry shampoo.
Another tip is to apply dry shampoo at night and in the morning it will have had time to absorb oil - it works much better this way!
Overall, I really like this product and will purchase it again due to the natural/safe ingredients and pleasant smell.

I have incredibly fine, oily, straight, blonde hair. My beauty routine included washing my hair daily, sometimes twice because it gets so nasty. Other dry shampoos have allowed be to skip a washing, but this dry shampoo has me going on 2 days and my hair looks and feels wonderful! The scent is light, a mix of rose water with a little spicy kick.

I'm trying to ease into shampooing lesser and so I bought the Skinnyskinny Rose and Black Pepper Organic Dry Shampoo to be use during days when I am not washing my hair. I have oily scalp and this product really work well absorbing the grime and oil so I am really happy with my purchase. Will try other scents from skinnyskinny. Last but not least I love the scent of Rose and Black pepper combo! :) I will also like to comment that the delivery of my purchase arrived promptly and Skinnyskinny did have the practice of emailing me when they shipped out my orders and I really appreciate that!
